Michel Van Devender Black and White Abstract Triptych

Yes I paint! And many are surprised to learn I've painted on and off for years. I hail from a family full of artists, the tortured kind of course. I'm an artist at my core, but have remained rather closeted about my painting, mostly creating for my own home. I honestly never saw it as a path I could or would pursue, mainly because of a rather tough inner critic. But, a winding creative journey and a series of fortunate events unfolding over several years have brought me back to my easel to paint, reconsidering the role art plays in my life. I'm excited to share my work and see where this takes me!
